Raindrops Company and PepperScript introduces “Lit Square”
May 10, 2016, Bangalore: Raindrops Company, one of India’s upcoming book publishing & distribution houses, and PepperScript, an independent publishing house based in New Delhi have entered into an agreement. As per this, the company will hold all rights to publish poetry compositions, short-stories and anthologies in India.
For a generation of Indian children brought up on a great writers like Rabindranath Tagore, Vikram Seth, William Shakespeare, this agreement comes as a breath of fresh air. With series of poetry books and anthologies, they plan to take our existing literature to a towering height.
The first phase will bring the poetry books to Indian audiences, while in the second phase, with series of real life stories and life changing motivational stories, will be launched. As Bernard D’sa, Founder and CEO of Raindrops Company says: “Most of the books available in India have standard formats for storytelling and stereotypical perspectives. In contrast, Pepperscript are refreshingly creative, and engage a wide age-group of audiences.”
Pepperscript is also famous for its Comics, Along with promoting new authors, they have spread the readership among the masses. In a country brimming with literary talent, the agreement between the two companies is the best thing that could happen.
Shonali Dey, Creative Head of RainDrops Company will lead the project.
